240v changing to 110v motor?

i have a240v makita 1013 chopsaw can i change the motor to 110v where could i get a motor from and how much?

A solution is just to use a 110 to 240 V transformer, which should be avilable at a fairly low cost and could be fine for other 220-240 v equipment also, if you did bring such with you.

Is this a European Makita saw? There isn't a way that you could convert a 240 to 110 or vise-versa. You would need to buy a new one if you are looking for a 110v Chop saw.
