Radiator stuck on full blast?

Hi,
I have a thermostaticly controled radiator that only heats at full temprature, no matter what I do any adjustments don't work. It's like a furnace. Any help would be massively appreciated.
Thanks.

Unscrew and remove the TRV control head of the valve.

Squirt some WD40 around and on the 'pin', then work it up and down.

Replace the valve (set at it's highest setting) and you'll be back in business!!
