RE changing light bulb in a Panosonic microwave?

One answer I received was to remove the out case. I am not sure what you are referring to. Can you be more specific? Thanks

You may wonder why the guy is sawing a new microwave in half? It seems they are trying to communicate with other planets and wish to use the $50 magnetron as the energy source rather than spend $1000 dollars on a transmitter.

Your microwave lamp is not accessible from the inside - the outer covers have to be removed - relatively easy if your microwave sits on a counter top but more difficult if it's a built-in unit.

The outer cover is the external skin - it will be fixed on with several screws. Here's a picture of someone dismantling (wrecking) a microwave for a special project but it gives you an idea of what needs to be done...
