Only works from programme 4 but does not spin.
If I set any other programme it just clicks round to programme 4

Martin Lowe's advice was spot on. i found 5 pence and a hair grip in the filter chamber stopping the pump motor from spinning on my machine. i would also reitterate his point about the water, it might seem like a small amount in the drum, but its a lot on your kitchen floor. well done Martin for providing sound information!!

My washer did this a while ago. there's something stuck in filter . take the bottom plastic panel from the bottom the machine on the right hand side there's a black screw plug turn anti clock wise and pull out and take out what ever is blocking the filter. it was a 5p that was blocking mine. Becareful if there is a half a washed load in the washer cause lots of water will come out when you unscrew the drain plug.
