You need to read the instructions before doing things. There is a dedicated Unistall program for AVG (I assume you mean AVG) as there is for most, if not all, AV Suites.
I suggest that you use the AVG repair utility (do an AVG install and it will come up automatically) then use the Uninstall Utility get rid of it.
BTW I have no idea why you would get rid of AVG . AVG is a first class AV program in my opinion. I use it and recommend it.
