the problem i have is that 2 days after i purchased it the flash wont come on,i have been through the manuel still cant get the flash on even when i go through all the settings.i have emailed the firm i bought it from but they dont seem to want to help me so its dark through all the pictures

This camera may be faulty. If so you should get your money back. If they refuse then the impotant lesson here is never to buy anything from them again, and write to tell them that.
On a more positive note, is the battery OK. Takes a fair amount of power to fire a flash. Sometimes the camera will work, but the flash is just too much. I don't know this camera, but if you have only had it for two days, then it does not sound right.
