I have 3 recorded programmes that appear to have frozen.

If I scroll down and pause on any one of them it freezes the box and I have to pull the plug and reboot. I cant delete them ether as again it freezes up.

Its driving me up the wall so any help MUCH appreciated.

there are a couple of things you can do i have done both and both things have worked

1 To turn of the Preview window, follow the following:

Menu
4 Setup
6 Help
1397 (on keypad for hidden engineer menu)
Scroll down to option 7 Disable Library video window
Right arrow once to change option to Yes
Back
Library
Highlight prog that's making your DTR crash, and choose to Delete it


2 Try a re-format press menu > set - up > Help > Green > Blue

THIS ANSWER WAS POSTED (BY CANDY) TO A PREVIOUS QUESTION IN OCT 08 AND IT WORKED.

I had this problem also. when i phoned the help line i was told to switch off power wait a little while and switch back on and then to highlight the programme above the one i wanted to delete and then
VERY QUICKLY IN QUICK SUCCESSION cursor down, press blue button and then the green button. If nothing happens switch off power wait a little while ,switch back on and hopefully on re-boot it will have gone. I hope this works for you it did for me.
