i have a HP compaqnx6110, and I need some advice, How does the plastic casing come off without damage? Will I have to interfere with the wiring in order to replace one hinge which is broken just above the 2 screws that fix it low on the LHS?The long arm of the hinge, which runs up beside the screen, is not connected to the hinge now.I can not close the lid. i have ordered a new hinge and do not want to cause any damage to the plastic covers and other small bits of trim. How are they held on? Is it a simple matter to slip a small screwdiver under the edge and lever the parts off. There are a number of black rubber plugs covering screw heads.This looks as if they are holding the screen to a chassis. dj2n6
