internet connection?

My home computer just stopped connecting to the internet. I have a wireless router and Ive tried to by pass it and hook it up right to phone line with no luck. I cant get to internet options to change settings, I'm not able to restore my computer. Ive even tried to boot in safe mode with internet connection..nothing! My router is hooked up through a wireless card on an other computer and it works just fine. Every now and then when I do try to connect some screen will pop up for a sec then its gone. luckily Ive got a laptop to. But I must say its starting me thinking about a big hammer! I know theres a fix...I just need help

Ray - it's not an internet issue - the internet is working fine to the other computer it's a Network problem - the wireless network between the failing machine and the working router.

Pick your specific router from all those your card can see.
Good luck...
