well in a washing machine aeg it means no water coming in to the machine

think this might be a filling issue.check water tap is on,check inlet hose for faulty (antiflood operated) or kinked,check the inlet valve coil resistance.also remove the hose from the machine end and check water is coming out with plenty of pressure.
