My Digibox done exactly the same this after an electricity power cut. I presumed it was something to do with the power supply. So From all that what your saying is that its unrepairable?????

A follow up to my last post on here.......... it is officially now a house brick until T845 firmware is avail,,,,,its not !!!........... so i took out hard drive and put it in another working unit, then recorded to DVD everything off the hard drive.
Until T845r firmware becomes available to download,,,its not at this time ANYWHERE,,,,i will use the unit to prop up my books, its of no other use.

Digihome DG250DTRA08 shows Fail on start up.!!!!
Well i have just had same prob 16/10/2010 and have tried all the so called fixes in the manual to no avail.
My biggest issue is not that it no longer works,,,,but that i have some recordings on the hard drive that i wanted to keep and burn to DVD,,so the Digihome DG250DTRA08 is now in bits on my workshop bench under going thorough examination to see "What exactly has FAILED",,is it SOFTWARE or HARDWARE failure, currently im trying to extract the hard drive contents to a file, using software prog, that way it cant lost.If it is the mainboard cpu that`s failed,or any of the ic`s then its a BIN job,PSU (power supply unit) is straight forward repair but time consuming,if it`s the HARD DRIVE mechcanics then it could be possible to clone the contents & install a new drive...........?
So SUMMING UP there are 3 things things it could be... PSU ?.... HARD DRIVE ?.... MAINBOARD ?.... the first is fixable ,Hard drive possible, but the mainboard isn`t..
Will update on here when ive examined them all.

I've got exactly the same problem. Has anyone any suggestions of how to fix it. Or do I have to bin mine too?
