Grandfather clock chimes at wrong times?

Franz Hermle movement chimes at several minutes beyond the quarters since i set the time by moving the minute hand anti-clockwise to set the time does any have any answers to getting it to chime correctly please.

there is a bushing in the minute hand. take minute hand off fit something in the square bushing so it doesnt turn and move the minute hand where you need it to be. put hand back on and try. may take several attempts thi is only if the first answer dont work.

Move the minute hand round the face until an hour strikes. Make sure you count the number of strikes. Remove the hands and replace them at the time the hours struck.
This should sort the problem out
When moving the hands make sure you pause just before the half hour, and just before the hour. Then move slowly to the hour or half hour as the case may be This pause allows the warning to act correctly. Moving the hands quickly past those points does not allow the warning to drop and the clock will, probably, not strike
