How fix leaking Bristan monoblock Kitchen tap?

How do I get at the ceramic washer on my leaking Bristan Java mono block kitchen tap. Picture available. The only access seems to be under the tap lever but then only to a small recess, which doesn't offer much hope. The only alternative seems to be to remove the whole tap which I would prefer not to do.
The tap leaks round the base probably caused by the build up of deposit.
Any ideas welcome.

Thanks,
Ben

Was this issue resolved...we have the same problem.

Once again thanks Ma for your reply. I have now removed the top of the tap and thoroughly cleaned it removing all lime scale from the metal and the large 'O' ring made of a hard plastic.

There is a complex shaped rubber seal in the centre of the tap over the various orifices, this seems to be in perfect condition.

However when I reassembled water still leaked out from the seat where the hard plastic ring goes. I tried wrapping the threads with ptfe tape but it still weeps. I don't see any other washers that I can replace. Where online can one find replacement washers for the ones I have as I don't know what they are called.

Thanks,
Ben

You should be able to open the tap from the top of the basin. Water probably coming out from the stem and roll down to the base. Open and inspect the tap.
Check and see where the water is coming out from.
You probably have to replace the rubber rings in the tap.

Ceramic washer taps last life time .
