My printer carriage is stuck, how can I fix it?

My printer carriage in my HP psc 2110v is jammed. It is stuck in the middle and my computer says there is a paper jam even though the jam has been cleared. How can I fix it?

Sometimes a little scrap of paper gets stuck behind the cartridge. Double check byt removing the cartridges as even a small piece of paper will be considered a jam
