to purchase the correct chain you need to know -
How many drive links - count the triangular bits of the chain that locate in the chain bar,
You need to know the chain pitch usually 0.325" or 3/8" and also the thickness of the chain drive links - the triangular bits of the chain that locate in the chain bar - Usually 1.3 or 1.5mm. Thne search ebay for a suitable chain - Stihl and Husqvarna chains are very good quality.
