Or, how do i fix it myself?

I don't know what happened to it. All it does now is go to Recovery Mode. All four options in recovery mode don't help to fix it. If you listen to it closely when it's starting up, it has some sort of buzzing noise, kind of like a skipping CD.

Also, i've lost the receipt, and i don't even know if the warrenty is still good. how much will it cost to get it fixed?

i have the exact same problem with my player. this is my 3rd time breraking my player this year....yeah i know. wat u do is go to www.creative.com and find the support/help page. Send an email to creative stating the problem and wateva else they ask u. they will send a response back to u and might try to tell u to pay 40$ to fix it but dont do it. just send it in to them and they give a referbished 1 for free. they already know ur waranty is still good cuz it hasnt even been a year since the zen came out
