How can I fix my Sony DSC - T1?

All the pictures we have recently taken are grainy and distorted to the extent that you can't recognise what the picture is of. The pictures are just lines of colour and very blurry. The camera is now nearly 4 and a half years old so maybe its just ran out of steam! Can anyone help?

We just had exactly the same experience with our 4 1/2 year old T1. I don't have an answer, but it makes me feel that they have a tendancy to pack up at around this mark! Maybe they have a self destruct mechanism(!) It looks to me like the digital processor has simply stopped being able to make sense of what it sees...
