error code #1203?

have lexmark x7170 which has cartridge error code #1203 . Thought they might be out and had both re-filled . The color one failed electric test . Color one is re-furbished . Guy at walgreens said most color cartridges have problems and can't be re-filled . This is second time color had failed continuity test .

Take your cartridges to Cartridge World and buy refilled cartridges. Have them test them before you take them home. If you have empties, take them in and you might get a discount on cores. I had the same problem here at work, Cartridge World. The test on the Lexmark 32 Black came up, "Unknown cartridge". The color tested just fine. If the cart's are bad they will know before the refill them. They should run an electrical test on the carts before they do anything to them. If the problem persist then you might have to use OEM. Cartridge World, where you live, should have a competitive price on them.
