My archos needs rebooting or formatting or something because it won't open. What will I do?

I have a 605. Most players have a Reset button facility, accessed by putting a straightened wire paperclip into a tiny hole somewhere on the casing, either in the base or near buttons - in only needs a slight push to take effect. Worth trying. This is mentioned in the instructions/handbook.
