My Sony trinitron TV fell on the ground (carpet) . Nothing seems to be broken. but it does not turn on.Can it be repaired?

Thanks Jonathon. We opened the back of TV and did not see a broken circuit board or loose components.However we were not able to see the tube either. The problem seems to be with where the elctricity gets into the unit. Can it be a fuse?

Well it can do.But theres one problem.If it has been dropped there could be a number of causes like cracked/broken circuit boards,Cracked tube(inside) or as simple as a loose component.You can check out the damage by removing the back cover but DO NOT touch anything inside the television even if it has been unplugged.It can shock you.I know that from past experence.If there is damage inside get an engineer out to it. Hope this helps.
