I need to replace the power cable on my VAX 6140 (Pet Vax) but can't work out how to do it, apart from cutting it off near the handle and connecting a new cable using an electrical connector.

The metal tube (that connects to the brush section) also keeps coming away from the plastic handle it sits in - can this be resolved without replacing?

Ignore my question about power cable as it is so easy to replace that I was obviously under the influence when posting.

Issue with the tube remains though!
