dvd player saying disc error when no error?

My LG DVD player refuses to play dvds, I have tried to clean the lasers, but it refuses to play the cleaning disc!

I found this link which is quite good for information. Hope you are good with a screwdriver and isoproyl alcohol. I have same problem with my Sony S800.
