The pickup has got a little crack in it not very noticeable but it may be affecting the sound of it i have tryed to mend it but without any luck any help?
I need a little bit more information. Is the pickup a humbucking pickup with a metal case surrounded by a plastic rectangle that is screwed to the body and also has two screws for adjusting the pickup height?

buy some emg pickups zakk wylde sets are $200.00 but they are designed to be replacements for les pauls and sound much better than the originals.up the value big time.
