electrolux (LUX 5000)?

problem with electolux vacuum cleaner - cannister style LUX5000. i took it apart to fix the retracting cord, which i fixed. But when i went to reassemle, one of the connections came undone. long story short, i can't seem to figure out where this connection goes, and how the wiring works. it looks really simple but... From the switch, there are only 2 black wires. One goes to the motor, and the other connects to a "connector" attached to the canister. There is also a black wire running from the "connector" to the motor. There is also a white and black wire running from the motor to the front part of the vacuum cleaner (the cover housing the bag). in summary, the motor has 4 wires attached to it...the black and white coming from the front part of the machine, the black coming from the "connector", and the black coming from the switch. seems like i am ok with the black and white coming from the front of the vacuum cleaner (the cover housing the bag). the problem is the other 2 black wires going to the motor. any help would be awesome.

There are two wires that provide the power nozzle connections to the front door. The other two are for the switches. The safety and ON/OFF switches are in series. Either the can motor or PN won't run, with this wire disconnected. Now, somewhere on that casing should be a place for that loose wire to go. Normally one of the lower wires comes off during disassembly, because the motor casing has to be pulled away from the cord reel for repair. I hope this info helps you out.
