My friend has a Notino L100 he was using it, then finished his work, shut down and closed the lid. Gave it to me to use, I switched it on. It started up and then the screen went black then it said "To recover press F7." Which I did, then it said to "press Reboot" which I did, now it says "BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"
I followed those instructions and it just keeps coming up with the last message of
"BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"
What has gone wrong because the machine is only one month old, and I am getting the blame for breaking it.
I have checked all the paperwork and there isn't even a telephone number to ring. The instruction book says to contact customer services, but how?

Same thing has happened to a customer. He bought it from somewhere and he is getting the same error message.

If you use recovery it says Restore Backup and when you click on it, it doesn't do anything.

I have cleaned the hard drive and installing windows XP on it as it has XP License on it. The main problem is getting the drivers as I cannot see the drivers anywhere.

I would suggest reinstalling XP on it should atleast run the machine.

If you are in the UK, return it to the RETAILER (NOT the manufacturer) for a refund.
