could either be the belt or the brushes on the motor. youd need to take the back off the machine to check. if the belt is still in place, and you can move the drum by hand with the motor turning with it, then it will most likely be the brushes. you can pick these up from any white goods website, or non-authentic parts from a local electrical shop (usually around £15 a pair or £30 a pair for authentic parts)
