Door wont open on DVD Player?

Matsui dvd player, door will not open after being used 6 times in 16 months

Maybe I got lucky, but i got my dvd out by folding a paperclip into an "L" shape and tinkered arount the top(actually trying to rip the dvd out before trashing the thing), and the door popped out as usual.

Faulty tray motor and/or the motor driver IC.Not worth fixing.Might aswell buy anotha dvd player.
