Hi
Please look under your washing machine for balck rubber shavings. If they are there you need to replace your motor isolator coupler (aka: tear drop coupler.) It is essentially 3 discs that may be white in color if they are worn out.
This coupler transfers the rotation of the motor to the transmission which spins your wash.
If there are no such black shaving present your lid switch may be broken. When you close the lid on your washer the post on the lid presses down on the lid switch. If the post doesnt connect properly or the switch is defective then the washer will not spin as it will represent a safety concern.
If the washer doesnt know if the lid is closed it wont spin.
