wireless network?

i got a linksys wireless to hook a desktop to a laptop...we have tryed everything...followed the cd exactly that was in it ....will work for a few minutes then knocks us off the internet..

This is often caused by other local radio interference in the same band. Do you or your immediate neighbours have a video sender device, these can cause problems. Is your cordless DECT phone base station close to the router or the PC?

Try moving these devices if you can and also try different channel numbers on your Router as moving the wireless transmissions to alternate channels can resolve these issues.

You know i have had that same problem with linksys where it wouldnt work no matter what i did.And it would knock me off the internet.So i took it back to pc world and got a refund.And belkin are the worst for dropping the connection.Just ask somebody at the place you got the router from and see what they can do. Hope this helps.
