Don't know what you paid for it. May not be worth it. I had a Sony 6.3 mp a couple of years back. I dropped it and broke the LCD viewfinder. Sony charged me $170 for the repair. The camera cost a little over $200 and it was foolish for me to pay. About 6 months after receiving it back and buying a shockproof case, it failed again. Needless to say, I bought another one.
