hi my karcher is splling out water from the top of the unit either side of the metal plate. there doesn't seem to be a way of taking this plate off to see whats underneath. if you take the four bolts off with an allen key then it just lets you see inside where the springs are which are covered in oil. help!!!

sounds like you will need to replace the pump

the plastic pump is pressed into the metal housing

be carefull not to loose the valves and little springs they are tiny
