it seems like the pump is not pumping water round the system, i have checked and it is, the boiler takes a couple of mins to get to 70 deg then trips out?

Does pump sound like it is running, you may need to put your ear to a screwdriver handle with the tip on the front of the pump,
Have you bled all air from the system?
Is the system pressure correct?
the Impellor(fan) may have broken away from the shaft inside the pump, this will sound like the pump is running, but no circulation will occur
