Parts--Rockwell 548 Bayonet Saw?

Among other things I need a cord. The left half of the handle appears to accept a cord clamp (recommended by Porter-Cable). I also need brush caps and, while I'm at it I think new brushes would be a good idea, even though the saw runs well as is. And a new base (with three screws in an approximmate 1" x 1" "L" pattern) would be a good idea since the existing base is stressed out of a perfect plane around the edges. Is there any hope for success at this attempt to buff out an already running tool?
