the machine will not do anything. from switch on the start light flashes continuously every second, and the wash light is on continues. The machine initially failed on its water empting cycle.I have inspected the water emptying motor for clogging and continuety it is not jammed and the ohms reading appears ok for a 250volt motor.

We had this problem, and in the water outlet pump, i.e. when it is rinsing, I found an elastic band wrapped around the propellor or whatever it is called, its and easy repair, just make sure you unplug it first and remember where any cable come from, use a camera if you have to. reomve the pump completely from machine and strip, it only has 3 screws.
