everytime i plug it in it says one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.
what shall i do :'(

go to the control panel and click the icon that says add or delete items, files whatever and there should be an item in the list that says somthing like usb driver or usb port driver. delete it and try plugging in your mp3 again
worked for mine otherwise there's something wrong with your port.
