Needle Reference Singer 449?

I've acquired a singer 449 that needs a new needle but however hard I look I can't find a reference number or size online for the needle number. Can anyone help please.
Trying to make a dress for my daughters birthday....

The style is either 15x1 or 705, they are a standard needle that you can buy anywhere including supermarkets or even on ebay.
