How to fix a Phillips TV Model #27PT6441/37?

We have had this TV for less than a year and it worked fine until one day it just would not turn on. My husband has it taken apart, but he doesn't know what to look for. Do you have any suggestions as to what could fix this? Our warranty for replacement is up, they will just replace the parts, but we figure having a repair person will cost just as much as a new TV, so we want to do it ourselves.

I just had this same instance with my Phillips 27PT6441/37. As with you, the under one year warranty only covers parts and not labor. They suggested that the power supply may be bad. Have you checked that or had any luck with the fuse suggestion?

Your T.V fuse could have blown out.

Follow your main wire to the T.V and your fuse should be around there.

Get it take it to the shop and get a new on.
and if you hav'nt cheacked the plug fuse cheack that as well.
