bathroom vanity warping?

My bathroon vanity is made from mdf with laminate over the top. however i closer inspection today i noticed the laminate is coming away from the boards.

is it possible to just pull the laminate off the boards and paint. (read previous articles on painting mdf.

I cant replace the vanity unity as it is attached to the wall and the bath is attached to underneath.

Why would someone put a mdf vanity unity in a bathroom that obviously going to get wet??

I think that pulling the laminate away will just leave you with a mess, that may or may not be recoverable by painting. Can you stick the laminate back down with something like Evo-stik until you decide what to do for a more permanent fix i.e replacement? You're right - MDF is hopeless when used in a damp area.
