How can I fix my 8 in Polaroid dvd player pdv -0813a?

My 8 in Polaroid dvd player pdv-0813a will only play cd's and not dvd's. Message on player states "no disc found" when I try to play dvd. What should I do?

yeah, I also called Polariod and they told me the same thing as Connie......at first I said 'no way' but haven't made a definate decision on what I'm gonna do. I'm thinking about just buying a cheaper one. However, I do find it odd that this happened 1 month after the warranty expired!!!

I have the same problem and was told by Polaroid that I can get an out of warranty exchange for $135.00!
