do you have picutures of before and after, would love to see, also is it difficult to open/close these windows now that they have a few coats of paint over the pvc surface? and is the paint wearing off at all?
thanks.

I have the horrid rosewood colour upvc window frames which are just not in keeping with my 250 year old cottage. Unable to afford to replace them as yet, I recently painted them in ivory cream mat. It's been very successful. The frames have to be thoroughly cleaned with sugarsoap. DO NOT sand. Then prime with International Paints specialist primer for upvc window frames. This acts as a strong adhesive for any good paint. I then used two coats of undercoat as the original dark colour is so difficult to cover and then a good quality top coat. It looks amazing, I am so pleased. Should have done it ages ago
