How can I make my radiator to generate it?

My radiator does not bring up heat when I put it on recently.
The boiler that is controlling both the radiator and the hot water is working as the hot water still running.
I have breed the heater as advised buy a friend but still it has not come on.
Whenever I switch it on, it will start for 1 minute and goes off again.

My boiler is a combi type that has both the cold and hot pipe that go through under the boiler. It has two separate nobs in front, one to switch on the heater and the other nob for hot water.

Please advise me.

Thanks

you say the rad dose try to get hot, so i take it the valves are open, then it can only be two thing one you need to flush the rads and pipe work, if it only one rad that is not working, then you could just take the one rad off the wall and put a holes or water though it, Or you may need a new pump good luck
