when i turn the TV on, it says no signal, tilting the TV forward it works?

When my 32"Sony Wega Trinitron Analog television turns on it says NO SIGNAL, but when you tilt it forward the picture and sound comes on. once you set it back down slowly it goes off. can you tell me whats wrong with the television. when held at the top tilted forward the picture and sound is perfect. once you let go of the top of the tv and slowly set it down it goes back to no signal.

Obviously a poor connection being made-good by the rocking movement. There's a remote possibility that it could be inside the set but it's far more likely to be the free-plug on the end of the aerial cable (the one that connects to the back of the TV) that needs attention.

If the cable is short - 3 to 6 feet you might consider buying a new ready-made one - else dismantle the one you have and re-make the end.

To check it out leave the TV alone and just wobble the aerial wire slightly - then you'll know.

Good luck...
