Fan won't work on worcester 24i junior combi boiler?

My hot water was working perfectly yesterday and have not heard any unusual noises from the boiler, however went to run some hot water today and water just runs cold.

It appears that the fan is trying to start as it makes the usual start up noise ( well I think it is the fan noise) for a couple of seconds and then nothing. Also tried the heating and again the same problem. I have tried the reset button but to no avail.

The fuses on the PCB have been checked and seem fine

It is like it tries to start but then just goes dead if you know what I mean. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?

i have the same problem with mine, there is feed to the fan. have you managed to get if fixed?

Fast flash indicates that the following checks shoul be carried out.

Temperature sensor (8000-20,000Ω).
Low voltage wiring harness / connections to sensor.
Fan / fan harness / connections to fan.
Code plug fitted.

I would however suspect that the pcb is faulty as i have had a problem which sound similar where when there is a demand for heat or water the fan will run for a short time, stop, then run again continually.

is there voltage to the fan? is there voltage on the terminals from the pcb to the fan check that first

No it doesn't, also the blue light on the front flashes fast.

We did have an engineer out today the one that fitted the boiler but he does not fill me with hope as he does not know what is wrong with it but will return tomorrow
