ACER Aspire 5720 problems?

I've had my laptop for about 18months, and it has now started to cut off. The area around the ACport at the back gets hot whether it is plugged into the mains or not. It can sometimes take up to 10minutes for the laptop to be able to reboot. What could be the problem?

My Acer 5720G Bought form Dubai in 2007, now seems that CPU is getting extremely HOT. I have also notice this when I PLAY VIDEO which will consume huge GRAPHICS resources / threads.

I am 100% Confident that ACER Engineers are FULLY AWARE OF THIS ISSUE BUT THEY JUST KEPT QUITE. ( In case ACER had to pay huge refunds ). I have also Notice lot's of other customers have complaints with OTHER ACER Models on Google search. So may be there some TECHNICAL Glitch in ACER DESIGN LAPTOPS . PLEASE DO NOT BUY ACER LAPTOPS OF ANY MODEL, there might be something within the CPU or Design FLAWS. I will be writing to ACER Quality Control they must address this ISSUES.

** Not sure if you are aware but this short can be caused by having the battery constantly on charge. Remove the battery when on a/c power and store it as per the manual**

This could be caused by short on your dc jack, you should check the instide as the lptops cooling fan might have dust build up.
