how can i remove the HDD from my Tatung Elio, I would like to reload the system files as it has been formatted and lost these.

through searching ive found this thread and im having the same problem,ive been given one of these players and the os is missing and it did not come with installation cd etc so think it needs completely re loading,its like someone has replaced the hard drive and its completely blank,when you switch it on it says tatung loading then just comes up with "operating system is not found " would re installing the firmware cure this ? and if so would you be able to email it to me please ?

I've bought a second-hand Elio TPJ 1022, but the CD containing the Jukebox App for the PC was broken. I've done a lot of research, but I've not been able to find it anywhere. It looks like as if this company, tatung, doesn't exist any more.

Can anybody help me? Send it to me by mail or give me a working link?

Do not remover anything from the player - you can re-install the frimware via USB - post your mail adress if you need the firmware - i can mail it to you.
