hi , i hope u can help me, the screen on my daughters laptop is black only the toshiba logo appears when u turn it on and then nothing just a blank black screen, can u help us in anyway /thing would be appreciated ,,thank you xx oh nearly forgot its a toshiba satellite pro a200

Is there and OS installed in? What happens if you try and boot up with a Windows disk can you see the installation screen?
If not it sounds like it maybe the invertor has gone on it. There not that expensive and a doddle to change
