i currently recieved an old and broken AG-400 stereo receiver. instead of salvaging parts, i decided to try to fix it. so far in my trouble shooting i have found that

it will turn on
it will output a signal to a speaker
it will not tune
the screen that displays tuning information will not turn on

the inputs other than the tuner (phono and cd/vcr) as well as the Tape/Dat Monitor have not been tested since i do not have all of the hardware to do so right now.

any help/tips/schematics/general repair guidelines would be greatly appreciated
