hi, i have a cctv system with a recorder box which has a 500 g hard drive the other day it came up on the screen hard drive fail (flashing) it wont record now is there an easy solution to repair this many thanks

Sounds like it maybe a new drive to me but if you could piggy back it onto a pc as a 2nd drive then you could try running a scan on the drive to see if it can repair the bad sectors on it.
