I have an Sylvania 4gb touch mp3 but can not put video or movies on it it says file format error even when I use the format it says it supports. I can put video and movies with no problems with a friends mp3 can someone please help?

I just bought the smpk8854b and had the initial problems reported by everyone else. Use the installation disk, but allow it to open instead of using the "start" menu and "run" option. When the disk opens, there are four different "programs" on this little disk. Open each one separately! Follow the instructions to the letter. I know how small the writing is. I found a magnifying glass and read the instructions...to the letter! It works very well.

Did you use the converter software it came with? If so make sure your converter resolution is set to 320 X 240.
