Thompson rear projection tv shuts down?

After few minutes tv shuts itself down i guess its faulty starter motor anyone with better idea id be glad of their help

mine did that then eventualy after a few month the bulb went if yours goes dont pay shop prices as its up to £300 look on net there is a place in manchester you can get bulb for £105
